As an ICF certified executive coach, she works closely with entrepreneurs and leaders around the world to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Lashley is a Colorado Native who has lived and worked in the Middle East & Asia for more than 15 years. She adapts quickly to diverse settings and is accustomed to the dynamic pace of emerging & growth-leading economies. With an academic background in international policy and political science, she takes a straightforward approach to leadership and quickly analyze issues and offer clear, objective recommendations to inform and guide stakeholders
As Chief Marketing Officer at Marriott & Pearl-Continental Hotels Lashley led a team of 100+ people in Pakistan while driving commercial strategy with a focus on profitability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. Not only was she the only American and the only woman in the C-Suite, in less than two years Lashley set up a revenue management team, a digital distribution program, and introduced multi-channel marketing strategies that led to double-digit topline growth for the company.
At Kempinski, Lashley oversaw brand communications in India, the Middle East, & Africa and managed marketing managers in 20 hotels. She developed marketing communications strategies for the brand as they rapidly expanded their portfolio in the region, focusing on outreach in new markets and building brand equity in important feeder markets in Europe, Asia, and North America.
At Dubai World's real estate arm, Lashley managed budgets in the 10s of millions of $ and oversaw global launches of major projects - The World Islands, Trump Tower Palm Jumeirah, and the openings of Fontainebleau Miami and W Hotel Washington DC. Working with some of the best events and branding agencies in the world she crafted global communications plans for launching iconic North American brands in Dubai such as Cirque du Soleil and Sea World.
Lashley serves as a volunteer mentor and coach to accelerator programs in the region and has frequently featured as a keynote speaker at major industry and entrepreneurship events.
